Camp Ka Pilina Pulama
(June 25, 26, & 27, 2010)
Each June, Hospice Hawaii hosts an annual family camp, Ka Pilina Pulama. Geared to the special needs of children, 5-years-old to 17-years-old, and families who have lost a loved one in the previous three years.
Camp provides loving support in a safe place where families grieving a death can learn and share their experience as they move through the healing process. Camp provides a balance of fun activities and introspective grief activities to assist in healing for the family unit. The camp features experiential activities and shared time with counselors skilled in techniques of grief sharing and bereavement. See Family Bereavement Camp.
