Nursing Management Positions:

All RN Manager positions require a current Hawaii RN license

Admissions Manager, RN (FT)

Supervises the intake and admissions process for all referrals, assures documentation of all patient care activities by the admissions team is in accordance with hospice protocols, responsible for ensuring the strategic Business Development objectives related to growth and customer service are met, works in collaboration with medical staff to determine eligibility, works with liaisons in nurturing relationships and building a strong referral base, and oversee entries into the EMR/Tracker to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance.

Management experience in a health care setting preferred and at least one year of experience in a healthcare or gerontology.

Patient Care Manager, RN (FT)

Coordinates the activates of a multi-disciplined team to achieve the highest quality patient and family care outcomes, including but not limited to Clinical Care, Professional Relationships, Program Development, and Staff Development. The PCM supervises and coordinates the day-to-day delivery of patient care services and promotes the emergence of a inter-disciplinary care model for compassion and quality of care you insist upon every patient and family served by your team has the best care possible.

Must have at least three (3) years of experience in hospice or related healthcare field.

Quality and Compliance Manager, RN (FT)

Primary responsibility includes examining the function of the entire organization in the areas of clinical care, productivity, fiscal management, and regulatory compliance. Helps to identify risk management issues, stays current with regulations as they apply to the organization and assists with training and orientation of staff. Helps to identify educational needs of staff and provides some education for staff, particularly in the areas of documentation and regulatory compliance.

Supervisory experience preferred. Must possess demonstrated skill in data collection and analysis, proficiency in both written and oral English language communication, familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point plus the ability to enter on-line data and do on-line research with the ability to assist the President and Directors in mapping strategies for organizational change.

Additional Clinical Positions:

Community Liaison (FT)

Responsible for generating and responding to new referrals from hospitals, nursing facilities and other community partners . These skilled sales professionals who possess the demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate strong relationships with our referral sources through outreach, education and networking.

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration or other related fields and a minimum of one year direct sales experience; preferably in the healthcare environment. Knowledge of hospital/physician referral process and end-of-life care is preferred.

Clerical Positions:

Staff Accountant (FT)

Responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Payable function which includes processing invoices, preparing/issuing check payments, reconciling monthly vendor statements against invoices and responding to vendor-related inquiries among other Accounts Payable functions. This individual is also responsible for recording daily bank transactions into the accounting and billing system (i.e., client remittances and receipts), processing of checks and credit card receipts, and investigating/reporting on variances as necessary. The Staff Accountant is also tasked with the preparation of monthly recurring and adjusting journal entries as part of the Finance Department’s month-end closing process. The individual in this role is also expected to assist in the preparation of various monthly and/or ad hoc reconciliation workpapers and annual audit schedules as directed by the Accounting Manager. The Staff Accountant is also responsible for maintaining paid vendor files, bank deposit files, various monthly statement work papers and assists in the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department as necessary.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least 3 years of experience in professional level accounting. Additional experience in healthcare industry is a plus. Proficient in the use of GL software, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Email and Internet. Proficient and accurate keyboard skills. Flexible, organized and detail oriented.
