Clinical Positions:

CNA-Kailua Home (Per Diem)

Primary responsibilities are providing bedside care and assistance with daily living, including but not limited to bathing, mouth care, skin care, hair care, toileting, dressing and feeding. Ideal candidates will possess or demonstrate the ability to provide a safe and sanitary environment for the patient and collaborate with the other Kailua Home staff on an ongoing basis to help assure quality and continuity of care. Our home is a 24/7 inpatient facility. Shifts are 12 hours each (DAYS: 6 am through 6:30 pm and NIGHTS: 6 pm through 6:30 am). Requires weekend and holiday availability.

Must have current State of Hawaii certification as a home health aide or nurse’s assistant, one year of direct patient care experience.

Nurse Case Manager (PT)

Provides case management services to best benefit our community patients and caregivers needs in a manner that reflects compliance with federal and state regulations; documents all nursing and case management activities in accordance with hospice protocol; participates in Transdisciplinary Team conferences. Must have a current Hawaii RN license. BSN preferred; and at least one year of experience in a healthcare or gerontology setting.

Patient Care Manager, RN (FT)

Coordinates the activates of a multi-disciplined team to achieve the highest quality patient and family care outcomes, including but not limited to Clinical Care, Professional Relationships, Program Development, and Staff Development. The PCM supervises and coordinates the day-to-day delivery of patient care services and promotes the emergence of a inter-disciplinary care model for compassion and quality of care you insist upon every patient and family served by your team has the best care possible.

Must have at least three (3) years of experience in hospice or related healthcare field.

Social Worker, Pediatric and Adult (FT)

Responsibilities include, providing crisis intervention, individual, couple and group therapy to patients and families for a diverse range of issues related to grief/loss, adjustment to illness, relationships/family dynamics, mental health, abuse, symptom/pain management, spirituality and bereavement. Participates in the provision of social work services in a transdisciplinary care team setting and collaborates with team members in developing a patient centered plan of care.

Must have a Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work and a current license to practice as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the State of Hawaii. At least one year of experience in a related social work field.

Clerical Positions:

Staff Accountant (FT)

Responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Payable function which includes processing invoices, preparing/issuing check payments, reconciling monthly vendor statements against invoices and responding to vendor-related inquiries among other Accounts Payable functions. This individual is also responsible for recording daily bank transactions into the accounting and billing system (i.e., client remittances and receipts), processing of checks and credit card receipts, and investigating/reporting on variances as necessary. The Staff Accountant is also tasked with the preparation of monthly recurring and adjusting journal entries as part of the Finance Department’s month-end closing process. The individual in this role is also expected to assist in the preparation of various monthly and/or ad hoc reconciliation workpapers and annual audit schedules as directed by the Accounting Manager. The Staff Accountant is also responsible for maintaining paid vendor files, bank deposit files, various monthly statement work papers and assists in the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department as necessary.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least 3 years of experience in professional level accounting. Additional experience in healthcare industry is a plus. Proficient in the use of GL software, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Email and Internet. Proficient and accurate keyboard skills. Flexible, organized and detail oriented.
