- Patient Visitor Volunteer
Provides companionship, respite, chores, errands and light physical care for patients and families.
- Therapeutic Pet Volunteer
Provides therapeutic support through your pet visiting patients and families. Certified therapeutic pet required.
- Creative Arts Volunteer
Provides support through art or music. Relevant creative arts background is preferred, but not required.
- Bereavement Volunteer
Provides continued support to Hospice Hawaii families through telephone calls and/or visits. May assist with bereavement support groups, memorial services, and family night.
- Office Volunteer
Provides filing, computer data entry, typing, telephone, bulk mailing, and receptionist support.
- Special Events Volunteer
Assists marketing and development staff at community and benefit fundraising events. May assist with photography at events.
- Professional Volunteer
Provides leadership to the organization as a member of Hospice Hawaii’s Board of Directors.
- Alternative Care Volunteer
Provides professional services such as notary, reiki, healing touch, aromatherapy, and haircut.
- Internships and Practicum
Available intermittently for nursing, social work, and continuing pastoral education students.
